First successful BRUcloud event is a fact!

First successful BRUcloud event is a fact!

22 Dec 2017 | Event

On Monday December 18th, Brussels Airport organized the first BRUcloud event. The goal of this event was to open up the clouds around BRUcloud and see what the open data sharing platform can offer to the community.

Next to the speakers from Brussels Airport, we have welcomed three other parties who helped us explain the world of digitalization

Nallian for their expertise in data sharing and their bold mission to making the world operate as one.

NxtPort for explaining the similar initiative in the Port of Antwerp. Check out their presentation on the following link:

T-Mining for demystifying blockchain and introducing a possible use case. Check out their presentation on the following link:

During different break-out sessions, demonstrations of the operational apps were given.

Last but not least we wrapped-up the event with a short debate with David Bellon (DHL Global Forwording), Erwin Hoefkens (NxtPort) and Geert Keirens (AirCargoBelgium).

This event was a big leap forward for our digital community cooperation! This is definitely not the last edition of a BRUcloud event, so keep your eyes on our newsletter and website for next editions.
